If you want something that you have never had, then you must do something that you have never done.
Making the decision to become physically fit is the first step to a life long commitment, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. I am here to help and guide you every step of the way. I have been involved, in one role or the other, in the fitness industry since the time of leg warmers and leotards and mens only muscle gyms. Trust me, when I say that we have come a long way since those days. It might take a little time and hard work but together we will achieve your fitness goals. It is fun to see the inches fall off, or the muscles pop for the first time, or in a long time.
I chose to be certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) because of their emphasis on developing the body from the inside out. Creating greater flexibility and more core strength is the starting point for that long, lean, strong and powerful body that we all want.
My special interests are in working to correct posture and muscular imbalances, due to injuries or our sedentary work and lifestyles, helping to alleviate back, shoulder, and knee pain. I am currently working towards a certification to work with cancer patient rehabilitation.
In my programs we will emphasize fluid movement using circuits to challenge and improve endurance, agility, balance, and strength, with appropriate focus on stressing proper form and method.
I look forward to helping you do what you have not done before to achieve what you have not had before. Or, to get back what you had! So give me a call and let’s get started today.
