Kansas City Personal Yoga Instructor Maris AylwardMaris D. Aylward Maris began her yoga journey in 2003 in the Philippines where she explored different styles such as Ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar, and Vinyasa Flow. Upon moving to the U.S. in September 2010, she began her initial yoga teacher training with Yoga Fit (Levels 1 and 2). She completed her 200-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance) Balance Yoga training at KC Fitness Link in September 2011.
Maris is currently teaching Beginners, Vinyasa, and Gentle Hot yoga classes in Kansas City and the surrounding areas at different studios and clubs.
It brings her great joy to share yoga with her students and to witness them enjoying the many benefits of this wonderful practice.
